Galactic Pathways User Agreement All paying and non-paying Galactic Pathways members must read and agree to the following terms and conditions decreed by Marksman Software: -The Galactic Pathways game and everything within it is a copyright property of Marksman Software, and thus, no functions, features, materials, texts or images may be reproduced by a third party other than Marksman Software unless permission is granted by Marksman Software to do so. -Galactic Pathways price and rates are subject to change at any given time. -Galactic Pathways is designed for players aged 18 or older and contains mature content. Marksman Software assumes that its users will respect this age limit, and does not claim responsibility for "under aged" users who sign up for Galactic Pathways disregarding our warning of mature content. -Whether or not you are a paying Galactic Pathways member, if you are caught cheating, in any way in Galactic Pathways, Marksman Software reserves the right to delete your Galactic Pathways account. -Galactic Pathways account holders, both paying and non-paying, may not hold more than one Galactic Pathways account at a time unless they are authorized by one of the developers at Marksman Software to do so. Members who hold more than one Galactic Pathways account at a time are considered cheaters, and as such, Marksman Software reserves the right to delete the account or accounts belonging to Galactic Pathways members who are deemed cheaters. -Any Galactic Pathways account holders, whether paying or non-paying, are responsible for reporting bugs to the developers at Marksman Software. Any Galactic Pathways account holder who fails to report a bug in the Galactic Pathways game to the developers at Marksman Software, and instead uses this bug to his or her advantage, will be considered a cheater, and thus have their account deleted. -Marksman Software does not claim any responsibility over Galactic Pathways accounts that are not properly secured by their holders. If a Galactic Pathways account holder gives any of his or her account information to a third party (not including developers at Marksman Software), Marksman Software is not responsible for any of the consequences that may ensue, such as stolen information, registration codes, or other in-game items. -Galactic Pathways account holders may not reveal their Galactic Pathways password to a third party. -Galactic Pathways account holders may not impersonate one of Marksman Software developers, one of the Galactic Pathways administrators, or any other player. -Marksman Software is not responsible for any personal information that Galactic Pathways account holders decide to give to other Galactic Pathways players. Your personal information is yours to do with as you please, and Marksman Software will not be held accountable for consequences that result from your failure to ensure the privacy of your personal and contact information. -Using any third party programs to gain an advantage in the game (including, but not limited to, Galactic Pathways game calculators, hacks, etc) not licensed by Marksman Software and is not permitted and is a bannable offense. -No intellectual property rights contained in the Galactic Pathways game or Galactic Pathways software may be used to make and provide another means by which the Galactic Pathways game can be played. -Marksman Software claims no responsibility for any loss of life, physical, psychological, or intellectual traumas experienced by Galactic Pathways players, some of which may be directly or indirectly attributed to playing the Galactic Pathways game. -All decisions regarding a Galactic Pathways player's account are decreed by Marksman Software, and, once decided upon, are final. -Failure on the part of Galactic Pathways account holders to comply with the terms and conditions stated above in this User Agreement is punishable by the deletion of the given Galactic Pathways player's account, with no possibility of a refund. -We ask that players refrain from using real-life and/or offensive names for their settlers, empires, and starships, which could potentially offend, insult, slander, or terrorize other players and/or Marksman Software. If you choose a name that is offensive to a significant amount of other players or Marksman Software, Marksman Software reserves the right to ask you to change it. Refusal to change an offensive name is punishable by the deletion of your account with no refund (if that applies). Our policy on names was created to ensure that all our players could enjoy a pleasurable experience while playing Galactic Pathways. In becoming a Galactic Pathways player, you also become a part of a community, and this community's interest is what we, at Marksman Software, keep at heart. Please respect this policy, as well as the Galactic Pathways community. After all, this is a fantasy game, so your name should reflect your imagination :-). -Any behavior deemed inappropriate by Marksman Software may result in the banning of a user from the services and/or termination of a user's account without refund. -It is illegal to use or develop a web page or any other type of program or script that uses Marksman Software servers. This includes, but is not limited to, fan sites connecting to our servers, game calculator etc. -It is illegal to babysit or share a Galactic Pathways account. Marksman Software reserves the right to terminate or disqualify anyone who is using these techniques without notice as it is considered cheating and gives shared account players an unfair advantage. -Marksman Software reserves the right to append and/or alter Galactic Pathways User Agreement at any given time.
